About the Fusion Bonds Hair Extensions Course

The Fusion Bonds Hair Extensions Course is taught by a qualified teacher and throughout the one-day training course, you will learn how to use keratin bond U tip extensions and attach them to natural hair via a heat fusion gun. You won’t need any tools on the day as we provide a selection of equipment for you to practice with. However, you can bring your own kit should you have one. This should include a heat connector tool, sectioning clips, a hair extension brush, acetone, removal pliers, pin tail comb, crocodile sectioning clip and hairdressers tool bag.

During training, you will discover how to use glue extensions, including how to use a heat fusion gun to apply the hair extension to natural hair. As these hair extensions can last for up to six months, you will learn about aftercare so your client can maintain the hair to look its absolute best.

You’ll also learn about colour matching, placement and application. To gain more knowledge about the structure of the hair and how to handle it, we teach a section on theory. Following this, you will practice on a training head. Using your new-found skills, you’ll be able to complete a stunning full head of extensions. Knowing where to source the best quality hair for your clients is a must so we will give you the knowledge needed to find premium suppliers.
