In our Basic Hair Cutting course, you will gain the knowledge required to competently offer a basic hair cutting service to your clients. From understanding the health and safety involved in working in a professional workplace to gaining information on how to work on a client, this high-quality course gives you the ultimate training you need.

Our two day Basic Hair Cutting course is fully accredited and is taught by a highly-experienced teacher. During your course, you will learn how to complete a short, graduated cut, how to add texture and layers, how to soften a style, as well as how to complete a straight cut. This course is ideal if you’re planning a return to the hairdressing industry or if you want to brush up on your skills. If you’re taking this course and planning on entering the hairdressing industry for the first time, we recommend following up with our NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing qualification to expand on your knowledge.

All tools and equipment are provided by us during your training days. However, we suggest purchasing your own kit in order to practise at home. We appreciate that it takes time to become confident in applying new skills, which is why our knowledgeable team are on hand to offer you additional learning support after you have completed your course. With our specialist training, you will be confident in offering clients the basic haircut they require.
