About the Vintage / Retro Hair Up Course
In our fun Vintage / Retro Hair Course, you’ll discover a range of aspects about hair and how to create amazing hair styles in a range of vintage looks. After the course has been completed, you will gain a diploma certificate in Vintage Hair which you can proudly display to your clients or employers. During training, you will learn to create rolls and twists as well as learning about the correct equipment to use and the hair growth cycle. You’ll also learn how to provide a client consultation to give a glamorous makeover. You’ll learn different techniques, including curls and knots, and you’ll find out more about preparing for hairstyles, health and safety and the best products for styling and grooming.
We offer the tools and equipment required for training. However, buying a personal kit will allow you to practice at home. During the course, you will learn your new techniques on a training head – bring a camera with you to record work for your portfolio.
