About the Acrylic Nail Course
On completion of the acrylic nail extensions course, you will receive a diploma certificate in acrylic nail extensions and be able to obtain insurance for professional treatments. This one day course teaches you everything you need to know about acrylic nail extensions, including removal and repair, preparation, consultation and the tools required.
During training, you will discover how to apply liquid and powder acrylic, how to use nail tips, how to recognise nail disorders, the muscle and skeletal system in the hands, health and safety procedures, as well as aftercare and employment standards. As practice is a major element of the course, we provide all the equipment you will need to develop your skills in acrylic nail extensions.
Students are able to practice on each other so expect to receive a nail treatment during the course. This means your nails need to be free of nail polish, extensions and overlays before training starts.
